Job Title: Deep Laser Therapy Assistant / Patient Care Assistant
Location: State Line Chiropractic Center, Glen Mills, PA

Position Summary
As a Deep Laser Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for administering deep laser treatments under the supervision of our licensed practitioners, as well as providing ancillary patient care throughout the office. This role requires a bright, detail-oriented self-starter who can multitask effectively, learn quickly, and contribute to a positive, team-driven atmosphere. Prior medical or therapy experience is not required, we will provide comprehensive training.
Key Responsibilities Deep Laser Therapy Administration
- Prepare treatment rooms and set up laser equipment following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Assist patients through the laser therapy process, ensuring proper positioning, comfort, and understanding of each session.
- Monitor patients during treatment, observing for any adverse reactions and reporting to the supervising practitioner.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain laser units and related accessories after each use.
Ancillary Patient Care - Greet patients, verify appointment details, and assist with check-in/check-out procedures.
- Provide basic patient education on post-treatment care and practice policies.
- Assist in maintaining patient records, accurately entering notes and treatment details into our electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Ensure treatment rooms and common areas remain organized, stocked, and welcoming.
Clinic Support & Team Collaboration - Coordinate daily schedules, communicate any changes promptly, and help manage patient flow to minimize wait times.
- Provide administrative support as needed (e.g., filing, scanning, faxing, answering phones).
- Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and front-office staff to optimize patient care and office efficiency.
- Attend brief team huddles and continuing-education sessions to stay informed and engaged.
Qualifications & Skills
- No prior experience required ; all training will be provided.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bright, energetic, and detail-oriented personality with a genuine desire to help people.
- Exceptional multitasking and organizational abilities; comfortable handling a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual, able to commit to the schedule immediately.
- Strong computer proficiency, including basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and willingness to learn our EHR system.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsable to put patients at ease and collaborate with team members.
- Self-starter mentality with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn new clinical skills.
