Kickstart your finance career with hands-on experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment. MMI Engineered Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Intern to join our team for a paid internship. This role offers real-world exposure to accounting operations, financial systems, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll support both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions while learning key finance processes and tools. What You'll Gain: Exposure to ERP systems including IQMS and Excel-based reporting Experience with AP/AR processing and invoice handling Understanding of general ledger accounts and financial audits Practical involvement in financial scorecard tracking and vendor setup Mentorship from experienced finance professionals What you will do: Support Finance departments digitization project (Scanning critical accounting records into digital filing system) Assist the CFO with the cycle counting process Assist in processing of AP paperwork from completion to the check run Assist in processing AR invoicing paperwork for US Component Products Audit, enter and file all freight supplier invoices Manage all customer and supplier files Coordinate with other US locations to ensure AR and AP paperwork is received timely Collect data and prepare monthly metrics as needed Support other accounting projects, as necessary What we're looking for: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable learning new systems Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills Interest in manufacturing, engineering, or business operations Work environment: 100% on site work Office setting with daily interaction with manufacturing operations You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive finance team committed to continuous improvement MMI Engineered Solutions is an equal opportunity employer All MMI Engineered Solutions employees complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
