Purpose / Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Intern to join our corporate team located in Manchester, CT. The intern will support the finance department with daily operations, assist in financial reporting, and gain hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about corporate finance in a real-world environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Assist with special projects including auditing 3rd party vendors and verifying cost reduction projects Assist with the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and forecasts Support monthly and quarterly accounting close processes Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and variances Help with data entry, validation, and reconciliation Maintain organized financial records and documentation Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects Perform other duties and ad hoc financial tasks as assigned Adheres to all Core Values (Health and Safety, Quality, Customer Service, Development of People, Integrity, Corporate Citizenship, Continuous Improvement, Respect). Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Able to read, write, and speak in standard English Legally authorized to work in applicable country Working toward a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant business field at a college or university level An open mind and willingness to learn Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office products Basic understanding of ERP systems.
