Job Details We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Industrial Engineer to support process improvement and production optimization in a large-scale corrugated manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in a high-volume, fast-moving operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze production processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
- Assist in layout planning, time studies, workflow optimization, and ergonomics
- Collect and interpret production data to support decision-making
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects
- Work cross-functionally with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure performance goals are met
- Help standardize work procedures and support documentation of best practices
- Provide support for capital projects, equipment upgrades, and new process implementations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
- Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with CAD or process simulation tools is a plus
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and contribute in a hands-on production setting
