We are seeking a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Idaho. This opportunity begins on Jun 30, 2025, and involves a set schedule on Mondays and Thursdays from 8 am to 3 pm, with additional time allocated for charting. The role focuses on both inpatient and outpatient wound care, providing essential services in a dynamic healthcare setting. Job Details Location: Idaho Start Date: Jun 30, 2025 LOA: 30 days Provider Type Needed: Wound Care Nurse Practitioner Schedule: Mondays and Thursdays, patient contact hours from 8-3 and time to chart afterwards Responsibilities and Duties Assess and treat inpatient wounds through debridement and dressing changes Manage outpatient follow-ups for chronic wounds Apply and monitor Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) Coordinate with nurses and providers on wound care plans Document wound progress and bill for procedures Educate patients and staff on wound prevention and care Additional Information Required Board Certifications: Family Medicine Proficient with the Cerner EMR system Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Idaho Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required Apply now to learn more!
