Building Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Maintenance Specialist. This position is responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior of properties remain in excellent condition. Work will include a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks in carpentry, plumbing, electrical and general property upkeep. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in at least one of the core trade and is willing to be cross-trained in the others.

• Pay starting at $23.67 up to $27.43 per hour   DOE
• Shift 7am-3:30 5 days a week
  • Hours could be 6 am - 2:30 pm for snow removal,

What will you be doing?

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in units and common areas.
  • Electrical: replace switches, outlets and light fixtures
  • Plumbing: Install toilets, faucets, and resolve leaks or clogs
  • Carpentry: repair doors, windows, cabinetry, and drywall
• Participate in building improvements, renovations, and special projects
• Assist in landscaping, groundskeeping, and snow removal during the winter
• Use basic computer skills to update maintenance records, input work orders, and track tasks
• Respond to maintenance calls as needed
• Drive to and from multiple properties or supply locations as part of daily duties

What do you bring?

• Willingness to learn
• Experience in at least one of the trade (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry)
• Basic knowledge of building systems and tools
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable using technology(smartphone, tablet, or PC) to manage maintenance work
• Strong teamwork, communication, a ndtime management skills
