The Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency at Geisinger welcomes applications for a board eligible or board-certified Internal Medicine-Pediatric Physician to join the Milton Clinic and act as the Ambulatory Site Director. This position involves an outpatient only clinic schedule with a variable work week. The physician will serve as the Ambulatory Site Director at the Geisinger Milton Clinic, which is the continuity clinic site for twenty residents. Responsibilities include serving patients in their continuity clinic, ambulatory rotation, ambulatory curriculum development, faculty development of preceptors, review and dissemination of resident quality metrics, clinic-based quality improvement projects, and mentorship for residents interested in careers in Primary Care. The role includes core faculty supported nonclinical time (up to 0.15 FTE) and a faculty appointment at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. The position offers a supportive interdisciplinary team, nurse call center assistance, nurse coordinators for high needs patients, centralized prescription refill team, and use of Epic EMR with Ambient dictation. Compensation ranges from $320k to $375k based on experience, with up to $250k recruitment incentives, residency/fellowship stipend up to $45k, CME benefits, fully paid relocation, and 401k contributions. The job requires a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and a Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Pennsylvania.
