Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mortgage Loan Originator located in Gilbert, AZ. The Mortgage Loan Originator will be responsible for originating mortgage loans, assisting clients through the mortgage application process, evaluating loan applications, and providing exceptional customer service. Daily tasks include gathering and verifying borrower information, and guiding clients through each step of the loan process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originating mortgage loans by identifying and cultivating client leads through referrals, networking, and marketing efforts.
• Consult with borrowers to assess their financial goals, recommend suitable loan products, and guide them through the application process.
• Collect and analyze borrower financial documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations, including those set by the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) and state-specific requirements across all 50 states.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate loan closings.
• Build and maintain relationships with real estate professionals, builders, and other referral sources to drive business growth.
• Stay current on industry trends, loan products, and regulatory changes to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly loan production goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or in a similar role within the mortgage industry (preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients and referral partners.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity and commitment to compliance and ethical practices.
