Job Description

Our client, a dynamic player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Receiving Clerk, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting a small, dedicated crew. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Receiving Clerk

Location: Durham, NY

Pay Range: $22 per hour

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Manage a small warehouse crew of 4-5 people, ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
• Follow a production schedule and oversee task assignments from upper management.
• Assist with daily shipping and receiving duties, including unloading trucks and processing inventory.
• Utilize a customized system to track inventory and deliveries, requiring some computer knowledge.
• Participate in cross-training for various roles within the warehouse, including potential forklift operation.

What's Needed?

• No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
• Ability to manage a small team and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and delivery processing.
• Physical capability to assist with warehouse duties, including lifting and moving products.
• Metal fabrication experience is a plus but not required.
