ABOUT THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a Sanitation Worker to help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our plant and surrounding areas. This is a vital role in supporting a safe and sanitary work environment.

Duties:

• Perform nightly sanitation of all production equipment, including fillet tables, scales, processing lines, floors, walls, storage areas, totes, gondolas, containers, and product contact surfaces using pressure hoses.
• Remove guards and processing components for cleaning, following lockout/tagout procedures.
• Empty all garbage containers throughout the plant.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Complete other cleaning tasks such as window washing and scrubbing walls and floors in the cooler.

Requirements:

• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Willingness to learn to operate an electric pallet jack (training provided if needed).
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., with regular lifting of 25 lbs.
• Availability for overtime as required based on production demands.
