Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Linthicum Heights, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This armed post requires you to carry a sidearm while conducting routine patrols and responding to situations as needed. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a secure environment for all personnel. Pay Rate: $24.44 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to security-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe for any suspicious behavior or potential threats within the location.
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Armed Security Professional License (SP Lic).
• Completion of required Firearms Training - Initial is required and may be completed post hire.
• Must acknowledge and comply with Firearms Acknowledgement requirements.
• Must be designated as an Armed Security Professional.
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience.
• Must possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License as required by state or local regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet AU Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
