As a Security Professional - Government Patrol in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Screener in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with your team and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and screen individuals entering the location to help to deter prohibited items and unauthorized entry.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, visitors, and staff to support a secure environment.
  • Document and report any incidents, observations, or irregularities according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
