Role Description

We are seeking a full time, onsite Full Stack Software Engineer (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node) who is passionate about building robust and scalable applications. You will work closely with our product team to design, build, and maintain high-quality solutions that meet our business requirements.

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend applications primarily with (but not limited to) React and Node.js
• Create elegant and clear user interfaces/experiences
• Implement robust and scalable services/systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of software
• Test functionality, identify bugs, and resolve issues
• Participate in code reviews and help maintain code quality
• Document systems and components

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Keen attention to detail, clear communication, and strong problem solving skills
• Solid frontend fundamentals — modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS (Tailwind is a plus)
• Proficiency with React and popular tools in the React ecosystem such as TanStack
• Proficiency building robust Node.js and Express applications
• Strong practical skill with at least one component library such as Shadcn UI (Radix), Mantine, MUI, etc.

• Experience with large-scale deployment and installation of cross-platform (macOS and Windows) Node.js applications (think SEA or Vercel’s pkg)
• An understanding and appreciation of fundamental design principles such as: adhering to design language patterns, implementing the appropriate components for a given problem, using sensible design elements, etc.
• Comfortable with the API layer, particularly REST
• Familiarity with AWS, Python, and security best practices
