This is a full-time position in our warehouse setting, working as a team in a fast-paced environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts to move and organize products, processes customer orders, utilizes machinery to cut turf to customer-specified measurements, maintains accurate inventory and conducts inventory checks, ensures the yard is accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic, and all other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.

Essential Functions

• Accurately and efficiently process customer orders.
• Utilize machinery to cut turf to customer-specified measurements.
• Utilize a forklift to move and organize products.
• Maintain accurate inventory and conduct inventory checks.
• Ensure the yard is accessible and safe for employees and customer traffic.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the warehouse and yard.
• All other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
• Ensure trucks are properly loaded and secured.
• Organize end-of-day paperwork for office administration.
• Lifting 50 lbs. regularly
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines

The ideal candidate would possess the following:

• Forklift experience
• Two years’ experience general labor or warehouse preferred
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs without assistance, and 100 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays when needed
• Familiar with manual labor, and ability to utilize basic tools, basic math skills
• Ability to learn to use Microsoft suite, including but not limited to: Excel, Word, Outlook

Work Environment
This role works in a fast-paced environment to process customer orders, utilizes machinery to cut turf to customer-specified measurements, maintains accurate inventory, ensures the yard is accessible and safe for employees and customers, and performs all other duties assigned by the direct supervisor. You'll be working in our warehouse with both indoor and outdoor exposure. You'll utilize standard warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, to move and organize products.
